Class Description

Children who bare ADHD traits often struggle making or keeping friends. They can feel left aside or isolated from their peers and end up doubting their worth or having no social self-confidence. As parents or caregivers, we can play an essential role in teaching our children effective strategies that will help them interact and communicate better with others, understand the unspoken social rules and abide by them. With such tools, children are able to develop positive interactions, and recognize the criterias of healthy friendships. Children learn by looking at us... Therefore, we can be influential role models and practice with them them the different skills it takes a person to become the friend others wants to hang out with.
