Parenting children with ADHD is hard! This class will give you tools to be able to help your child of any age immediately so your whole family can benefit!

Class Description

ADHD is often misunderstood as a laziness in a child or due to lax parenting. This way of thinking leads children to feel frustrated, and parents to feel lonely and helpless. This class describes what ADHD is and is not and gives you an overview of parenting styles and which is most beneficial for kids with ADHD. It also teaches you 5 keys to ADHD parenting and the steps that you can take to help improve your child's success at home and school. If you continue to try the same methods over and over and get the same results, then this class is for you. If you are ready to do things in a way that you may have not considered before, then this class is for you. Parenting kids with ADHD does not have to feel hopeless. When parents can understand and reframe the challenges that kids have due to their ADHD as lagging skills, they are better able to provide the emotional and physical support that children of any age need in order to thrive and succeed. You will come away feeling more confident and secure in your own abilities as a parent, and the whole family will benefit.

Your Instructor

Abigail WoolBiringer

Abigail Wool-Biringer holds a Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She has a special certification in ADHD and is also a life coach. She began working exclusively with pediatrics in 2010. In 2019, she began her own home-based therapy company, Kids Empowered 4 Life LLC with one goal: to work with children and adolescents with ADHD who often “fall through the cracks”. The struggles that the children face impact the whole family, and she knew that there were few resources available to them. Abigail found that one way to impact her clients the most was to work intensely with the entire family on their specific goals. She works with families and children of all ages, with a special interest in ADHD and its effects, such as challenging behaviors, executive skill weaknesses, social and relational struggles and more. She offers groups, one on one sessions, and parent coaching around Arizona and beyond. She loves teaching webinars to provide this valuable information to every family who is struggling.
