Class Description
Are you divorced and dating again? This class is for you! I am a divorce and co-parenting coach and I specialize in this stuff. I also wrote a book called "A New Special Friend" that follows a dad introducing his son to his new girlfriend and the feelings and changes that ensue. Books are a great resource for important conversations and transitions - and dating again is a big one that often gets overlooked. Your kids come first, always. As a good parent, you want to make sure that you are introducing your dating life and new partners to your children in the healthiest ways possible. In this 30-minute class, I will discuss the ins and outs of bringing new romantic partners into your family life. When to introduce them, how to introduce them, and what to generally expect behaviorally from your children depending on their ages. Including new loves in your life seems simple, but there are several key things that can potentially make or break how well your special someone is received. Things I cover in this class include: - Sharing information with your co-parent - How to behave when introducing your new partners to your kids - Signs to look for in your children that show they are probably ready for this next step - What to watch out for behaviorally in children ages 1-18 when bringing new romantic partners around the family - How to create the most positive experience possible for both you and your kids Join me for this quick half-hour discussion about dating and introducing new partners to your children. You will be glad that you do!

Your Instructor
I am a former elementary school teacher and curriculum developer. I now work as a co-parenting coach, helping divorced and separated parents reduce conflict and raise their children more peacefully. Co-parenting can be difficult, especially following a high conflict divorce or separation. I teach parents how to put their children first. I give them tools and information to help create healthy boundaries and communicate effectively in order to coparent peacefully without blame, shame, or games.
