Class Description

This bundle series involves 3 Parts and a 6 page PDF Workbook: The Ultimate Parent's Guide to Gaining Cooperation Part #1: 6 Tips for Gaining Cooperation with your child. I will cover things to avoid doing and bring the focus back to the kind of parent you want to become. You will learn why your child might be defying you and what you can do about it. Part #2: 3 Steps to Successful Transitions With Your Child This is a simple and effective 3 step formula I use with my own children to gain their cooperation. You will learn tools for how to handle defiance, backtalk, lack of cooperation and ways to navigate creating solutions with your child's help. Part #3: Choices, Positive Redirection and Playful Parenting Tips I will cover how to handle lack of cooperation using choices and positive redirection effectively. You will learn how to engage your child playfully when they aren't wanting to pick up toys, do chores and any other activity they might be pushing back on. I will also explain what might be behind the defiance and how to navigate it so you are working WITH your child instead of against each other. BONUS: Near the end of this video I cover a Parent AHA Moment that could truly help you understand what might be at the core of your child's defiance and disrespect. In this series, I hope parent's feel more empowered, confident and are able to understand their children in a whole new way!

How to problem solve with your child so you aren't working against each other. A step by step guide for how to invite your child's innate ability to want to cooperate with you.
  2. Three Steps to Successful Transitions With Your Child: In this lesson, you will learn: A simple and effective 3 step formula I use with my own children to gain their cooperation. A three step guide to minimize misbehavior at transition times. What to do and what to say to invite cooperation when you are transitioning from one activity to the next.

Evelyn Vieira has been supporting families for the past 20+ years as a Certified Positive Discipline Educator, Trauma Support Specialist, Parent Coach, Professional Nanny, Preschool Teacher & Foster Child Advocate.
