Class Description
This one hour mini-course is built for parents with food allergic children experiencing symptoms such as reflux, mucus/bloody stools, vomiting, and more through breast milk, formula, and/or solids. You will receive guidance on acute and chronic FPIES symptoms, reactivity treatments, finding experienced medical professionals, food trialing, a starter list of low reactivity foods, why FPIES is commonly unknown in the medical community, and more. This course is also valuable for lactation and medical professionals looking for the most current research on FPIES and how to empower parents through their journey. This is a unique opportunity to be in the "room" with families experiencing FPIES to learn what their questions and struggles are in their lives. This is a recording from the live course and Q&A.

Hi I'm Dr. Trill! I am a Molecular Biologist and mother to two beautiful daughters who had severe infant food reactions to proteins transferred from my diet to my breast milk. After processing the painful fact that I could hurt my children through breastfeeding, I started researching how to produce breast milk they could properly digest. I discovered that many parents experience the same troubling situation. I wanted to create a place for parents to find answers to their questions about infant food sensitivities and empower them to continue their breastfeeding journey. Free to Feed was born to provide the research, resources, and support I wish I had early on. We have started this mission by creating an food allergy support package to empower parents through their food allergy journey, a tracking app built specifically for this space, personal consultations, as well as an allergy friendly post-natal multivitamin. We are working hard towards launching an at-home test strip that will allow mothers to analyze their breast milk for allergens.
