Each of us takes on beliefs about ourselves during our childhood. But do you know how the beliefs you have about yourself affect the relationship you are building with your teen? Join Real Life Parent Guide Kim Muench to explore this topic!
Class Description
What is a limiting belief? When do the beliefs we have about ourselves get created and what effect do they have on the most important relationships in our lives? In this class, I will define the concept and talk through, with examples, the emotional effect of limiting beliefs. Our teenager's behavior has the ability to trigger within us reactions related to the beliefs we took on long ago. When we uncover these beliefs we can then ask the important question, "Is this true?" When we know what we believe about ourselves, we can work on shifting the beliefs that no longer serve our relationship to ourselves and to our children.
