Resilient Kids vs. Fragile Kids

On-Demand Class · Emotions & Behavior

Today’s children are considered to be very fragile, and are often called “The Fragile Generation.” This class is designed to understand what can cause children to be fragile, and what parents can do to help raise them with resilience.

Class Description

Today’s children are often bright, affectionate, and emotionally attuned—but many grow up within a fragile container. This generation has received abundant support from parents, schools, and their social environments, sometimes having too many needs met too easily. The risk is that when this protective bubble bursts—when they must face challenges, frustration, or adversity—they may struggle to find the inner resources to cope, simply because they were never taught how. This class explores the factors that contribute to raising fragile children and offers practical strategies for fostering strength, resilience, and emotional independence.
