Understanding and Healing Trauma in Children

On-Demand Class · Emotions & Behavior

Every parent hopes for the best for their child, but sadly many children do experience truma and develop PTSD. This class will explain how trauma can affect a child, and a wide number of ways to heal it.

Class Description

It used to be thought that if trauma was going to occur in someone's life the best time would be for it to occur in childhood. We are now learning that even children just a few days old can be affected by trauma. Trauma can include the death of someone close to them, or living through a disaster. Every parent thinks it will never happen to their child but it can. It is vital that parents understand how trauma can affect a child, and what different therapies and treatments are available if it does occur.
