They shower you with love and support. “You’re going to be the BEST mom ever!” But, deep down you wonder - will I? You're nervous about labor and delivery, but even more worried about what comes next? You wish you had a crystal ball to peek into the first three months and see what they really will be like. Sessions Overview
- Your Womb to World Transition - Introduction: Welcome to your course! These lessons will help you prioritize what really matters in your early days (and nights) with babe in arms.
- Baby-O-Clock, Around the Clock ⏰: Time takes on a whole new meaning (or lack thereof) in the 4th trimester. In this lesson, we learn about the many realities of baby-o-clock!
- Speaking Your Baby's First Language: Crying: Crying is the only way your baby has to communicate. In this lesson, you'll learn proactive strategies to support them as they move through two states of being: crying and calm.
- Bonding - The 4th Survival Need: You know the three basic survival needs: food, safety, and shelter. In this lesson, you'll learn why bonding is essential to your baby's long-term development and how to capitalize on this time.
- Slashing Your Worry List: Turns out, it was less stressful taking care of your sweet babe in utero than outside in the real world! Most new parents have way too much on their newborn worry list. In this lesson, I bust some myths, drop some truth bombs, and help you cut your worry list down to size!
- The New Mom Mental Reframe: Your mindset is a major factor on your baby's state of being. In this lesson, I target some common new parent mental struggles and reframe them for you. Learning the skill of applied perspective is a key strategy you'll use as your baby grows and changes!
- Conclusion: Congratulations! I'm celebrating you because it takes A LOT of intention and focus to finish a class when growing and welcoming a new human being! ??? Continue your proactive learning with my ASL Class: Sign to Speak - How to Use Sign Language with your Baby.
