Jen is based in Sydney, Australia, and is a mum of three children - two in their late teens, and one in early primary school. Jen’s passion in this space stems from personal experience following her daughter's contact with a predator via an online game. With her daughter's consent, Jen has published the story ‘A Regular Story that Rarely Gets Told’. In addition, she has navigated severe cyber bullying, a sexting incident, and the suicide of a friend with her older son. As well as this, Jen has been managing her husband's psychiatric practice for over a decade. She has noted in recent years an alarming increase in teens seeking help for mental health issues, some of which are directly related to gaming and social media use. She is currently completing a Bachelor Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Jen draws on her personal experience, work experience, and education to help parents empower themselves with knowledge and strategies in order to better protect their children online.
