Class Description
Baby Talk Basics with Happily Raised is a practical, research-backed course led by a certified speech and language pathologist. Designed for new parents, this class offers the knowledge and tools you need to confidently support your baby’s communication journey from the very beginning. Through interactive lessons, demonstrations, and real-life examples, you’ll learn about developmental milestones, simple strategies to encourage speech and language, and ways to use play and everyday interactions to build connection. You’ll also discover favorite toys and tips for introducing baby sign language—making communication fun, engaging, and meaningful for you and your little one. By the end of this course, you’ll feel empowered and excited to nurture your child’s growing voice, one word (and giggle) at a time.

Cristina Gamarnik is the founder of The Mommy Center and co-founder of Happily Raised. She is a mom to two boys. Before becoming a mom, she worked as an SLP in the schools and private clinics. After having her son, Cristina experienced the struggles of motherhood. Through her journey in counseling, spiritual and self-growth, she realized that her calling was to create a community for mothers who may be going through the same. She continued her education in mindfulness and became a certified Reiki practitioner and meditation teacher. She developed this community to be able to provide parents with the education and support so they can be the best parent, partner and person they desire to be.
