En conversaciones casuales, redes sociales e investigaciones, la atenci\u00f3n plena (o para ponerlo de manera simple, observar el momento presente sin analizarlo) ha ganado popularidad puesto que m\u00e1s y m\u00e1s estudios muestran que beneficia la salud mental y f\u00edsica, las relaciones y la productividad.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de estos beneficios, el tener una atenci\u00f3n plena puede sentirse como otra tarea pendiente, y hay que aceptarlo, \u00a1estas ocupado criando un ni\u00f1o! Pero este es el asunto: El mismo ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o que te mantiene tan ocupado que ni en atenci\u00f3n plena puedes pensar, \u00a1puede ser el mismo camino para adquirir esa atenci\u00f3n plena!<\/p>\n<h2>Estas son cinco maneras en que el sintonizarte con tu ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o puede ayudarte a tener m\u00e1s atenci\u00f3n plena:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enf\u00f3cate en lo mismo que tu ni\u00f1o. <\/strong>T\u00f3mate, as\u00ed sea, un par de minutos para en realidad sintonizarte con lo que tu ni\u00f1o est\u00e1 haciendo. Por ejemplo, si est\u00e1 jugando con un clasificador de figuras, de verdad m\u00edralo. Presta atenci\u00f3n a los colores y las figuras. Siente los bloques y f\u00edjate en sus texturas, temperatura y peso. Escucha el ruido que producen cuando golpean el fondo del recipiente.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Imita la atenci\u00f3n plena con la que come tu ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o. <\/strong>As\u00ed no sientas ganas de apretar ar\u00e1ndanos entre tus dedos, puedes aprender mucho sobre la atenci\u00f3n plena de tu ni\u00f1o al momento de comer. Es probable que se tome su tiempo, explorando las texturas, olores y sabores (especialmente aquellos que son nuevos). Intenta comer a su ritmo, mordisco a mordisco. Presta atenci\u00f3n a su textura, temperatura y c\u00f3mo sabe.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deja que tu peque\u00f1o pierda el tiempo, y hazlo con \u00e9l. <\/strong>Caminar con tu ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o y sigue su ritmo. Seguramente se detendr\u00e1 y se agachar\u00e1 a examinar un insecto o una flor, buscar\u00e1 un palo en el piso para agarrar, o frotar\u00e1 sus manos en el tronco de un \u00e1rbol. F\u00edjate en estas cosas con \u00e9l, y pr\u00e9stale atenci\u00f3n a lo que mira, oye y huele a su alrededor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Programa un tiempo libre de distracci\u00f3n para conectarte con tu ni\u00f1o todos los d\u00edas. <\/strong>Los Smartphones que suenan y las listas sin fin de cosas por hacer, destruyen la atenci\u00f3n plena. No podemos evitarlos por completo, pero el reservar periodos de tiempo breves para apagar el tel\u00e9fono y pausar las cosas por hacer con el fin de <em>estar <\/em>con tu ni\u00f1o, es algo valioso. Las rutinas a la hora de acostarse se prestan para esto (especialmente si tu ni\u00f1o est\u00e1 en la ba\u00f1era, lugar donde por seguridad, necesita de tu completa atenci\u00f3n). Toma esta oportunidad para prestarle atenci\u00f3n a los detalles de su cara y voz. Si est\u00e1 dentro de la tina, f\u00edjate como el agua se siente en tus manos. Si le estas leyendo un libro, nota el peso de \u00e9ste en tu regazo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Practica la respiraci\u00f3n con atenci\u00f3n plena cuando su comportamiento te desespere.<\/strong> Entendemos que el permanecer calmado el 100% de las veces es poco realista, pero cantidades de investigaciones muestran que el permanecer calmado, tanto como se pueda, es de gran beneficio para tu ni\u00f1o. Para mencionar una forma, cuando controlas tus propias emociones dif\u00edciles eres modelo de inteligencia emocional, la cual resulta ser mejor indicador del \u00e9xito del ni\u00f1o que el coeficiente intelectual. Una forma de permanecer calmado es practicar la respiraci\u00f3n con atenci\u00f3n plena cuando sientas que tus propias emociones se agitan. La <em>pr\u00e1ctica <\/em>es la palabra operativa ac\u00e1; toma tiempo aprender c\u00f3mo reconocer esas emociones, pausar, y respirar. No hay una formula establecida para la respiraci\u00f3n. Puede simplemente ser uno o dos respiros profundos y lentos. La idea es darte a ti mismo varios segundos para prevenir que tus emociones se descontrolen y le puedas responder al ni\u00f1o de manera positiva.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo mejor de aprender atenci\u00f3n plena de tu ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o? Que te ayuda a conectarte con \u00e9l de manera m\u00e1s profunda.<\/p>\n<p>Hay mucho que aprender de tu ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o sobre la atenci\u00f3n plena, pero tambi\u00e9n puedes invertir los papeles y empezar a ense\u00f1arle sobre pr\u00e1cticas de atenci\u00f3n plena como exploraci\u00f3n corporal, respiraci\u00f3n con atenci\u00f3n plena y prestar atenci\u00f3n a los detalles.
