En Jap\u00f3n, las madres con frecuencia hablan m\u00e1s socialmente, los cual se presta para un estilo expresivo.<\/p>\n<p>Ning\u00fan estilo es mejor que el otro, pero el ritmo en el cual los peque\u00f1os agregan vocabulario puede variar.<\/p>\n<h2>Estilo referencial<\/h2>\n<p>Los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os que tienen un estilo de lenguaje referencial usan el vocabulario para referirse a las cosas. Etiquetan los objetos y las personas y estructuran el lenguaje con el objetivo de hacerse entender. Tienden a interactuar m\u00e1s con los adultos que con los compa\u00f1eros. Usan m\u00e1s palabras sueltas y gradualmente arman frases y oraciones m\u00e1s largas desde ese punto. Puede que disfruten mirar libros o dibujos y etiquetar los objetos y la gente que ven.<\/p>\n<p>Para los peque\u00f1os que tienen este estilo, algunas estrategias de apoyo que pueden ayudar incluyen el construir sobre lo que dicen. Por ejemplo, si tu peque\u00f1o ve un gato y dice, \u201cGato\u201d puedes responder algo como: \u201cSi, \u00a1es un gato!\u201d \u00a1Mi-au! Mira que tan peludo es\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Estilo expresivo<\/h2>\n<p>Los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os con un estilo de lenguaje expresivo b\u00e1sicamente se lanzan, hablan y hablan, sin preocuparse si los entienden o no. Interact\u00faan tanto con los adultos como con los compa\u00f1eros, con frecuencia hablando de manera inteligible. Usan menos sustantivos y m\u00e1s palabras sociales y funcionales, como \u201chola\u201d y \u201cm\u00edo\u201d. Estos ni\u00f1os aprenden el lenguaje al gradualmente romper frases y oraciones m\u00e1s largas en palabras.<\/p>\n<p>Las estrategias de apoyo para los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os que prefieren un estilo expresivo incluyen el ajustar tu propio lenguaje para enfatizar ciertas palabras. Por ejemplo, si el ni\u00f1o dice: \u201cqueroirtenda\u201d, puedes decir: \u201cAh, <em>quieres<\/em> ir a <em>la tienda<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfC\u00f3mo el estilo de lenguaje puede impactar el crecimiento del vocabulario?<\/h2>\n<p>El tener un estilo de lenguaje referencial o expresivo no impacta el crecimiento general del vocabulario del peque\u00f1o, pero puede afectar <em>cu\u00e1n r\u00e1pida <\/em>es la adquisici\u00f3n de \u00e9ste.
